Scholarships
Scholarships are available for undergraduate and graduate students, for retired or disabled practitioners, for those in need and for those living outside the USA.
Applying
In the registration form, choose the scholarship option. A few more questions appear:
- whether you are a student, and if so your degree and a photo or scan of your student ID;
- whether you are a retired or disabled practitioner, or a veteran;
- why you are applying, and how the course will help you;
- whether you are applying for a full or a 50% scholarship. A full scholarship does not include CE credits; with a 50% scholarship you can tick the CE option, and its fee is added to what you pay if you are approved. If you are a student, the form does not offer CE.
Your student ID is uploaded right in the form. JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 4 MB each; a large phone photo is made smaller automatically before it is sent, and the form tells you straight away if a file will not do.
Nothing is charged when you apply.
What happens next
A course manager reviews every application personally, and you hear by email either way. While it is being considered, its status is shown on My courses.
- Approved at 100%: you are registered, with nothing to pay. A full scholarship does not include CE credits or the recordings of the sessions (see Recordings of sessions).
- Approved at 50%: the email has a link to pay the other half of the course price. The scholarship does not reduce the fees: the registration fee is added unless you are an ORI trainee, and the CE fee is added if you asked for CE.
- Not approved this time: you are welcome to register at the regular rate.
