Jan Almasy

RN

Jan Almasy, RN, is a Registered Nurse, entrepreneur, ADHD coach and lived-experience advocate who brings clinical expertise, entrepreneurial success and lived experience to understanding ADHD as a neurobiological variation rather than a deficit. A Registered Nurse with a minor in Clinical Psychology, his clinical background includes intensive care, emergency trauma and community mental health, giving him insight into how ADHD presents across settings and stages of life.

Diagnosed with severe ADHD as an adult, Jan developed “minimal medication” strategies for managing his ADHD, turning what many saw as limitations into entrepreneurial strengths. He founded Apex Communications Network, a marketing consulting firm; through his work with IndeCollective he coached over 250 entrepreneurs and executives, with particular expertise in supporting neurodivergent business leaders; and he is Head of Growth for SENT Ventures, a global faith-based business accelerator.

In 7 years of service in the U.S. Air National Guard he earned several Air Force Commendation and Achievement Medals for developing innovative training programs for recruits, gaining insight into how people with ADHD can succeed in traditional systems without masking who they are. As a speaker and educator he has presented on ADHD and achievement at conferences, universities and professional organizations, combining evidence-based understanding with lived experience to help audiences see ADHD not as a pathology to be managed but as a different operating system, with its own logic, creativity and adaptive strengths.
